Taiyoucon 2019

In January of this year, I had the lovely honor of performing in Taiyoucon’s Nikki Festival! It’s an outdoor stage inspired by Japanese summer festivals. They had games, food trucks and really great stage performances through out the day. Taiyoucon is a small, local convention here in Phoenix, Arizona. And even though it is small, I always enjoy going. Their artist alley always kills it and the events are always really unique.

I was so glad to get to perform on their stage and meet other lovely performers like Ikudansu and Sumuji Cafe. Plus, I had some super kind wotas come and to wotagei for me and it really made me so happy! I was really nervous to perform as very few people I know go to this convention, but I made so many new friends and that made it totally worth it. I really hope to work with them again in the future! The staff were so helpful and supportive. I feel like I learned a lot from this performance. ~ Check out the video below and tell me how you think I did!

Thank you so much, Taiyoucon!

Love & Stars,
Alex
